Tarot dummy

Int. Kaylas room
Mimi finishes putting down the third card of a tarot deck.
Woodhouse
Ooh those are new. Love.
Mimi puts the deck down.
MIMI
Right. Brooklyn flea.
Mimi strikes a match and lights the candles.
MIMI
All right. Your past.
Turns over the first card.
MIMI
Ooh. The Emperor. He symbolizes
order and power.
Woodhouse goes to pick up the card.
WooDHOUSE
I am black royalty.
MIMI
What do you see [in the card]?
Woodhouse examines the card, a chilling
sensation crawls up his spine.
WOODHOUSE
You playing with me? Why does it
look just like me?
He shows Mimi the card.
MIMI
Really? I don’t see it.
Julius
I don’t like that.
MIMI
Stop being dramatic...Your present.
She goes to flip the second.
Mimi
The tower. Associated with sudden
change, and despair. But remember no
card is inherently bad.
He takes the card and looks at it.
He shrieks and throws the card onto the table.
WooDHOUSE
Witchcraft. What is happening? You’re
fucking with me. Tell me you’re
fucking with me.
Mimi looks at the card.
MIMI
What are you freaking out about?
WOODHOUSE
Bitch it’s us.
Woodhouse turns severe.
MIMI
It’s not us Woodhouse.
He’s not facing Mimi and freaks.
WOODHOUSE
Mimi. I don’t like this, I don’t like
this. Do not turn that last card.
Mim looks at Woodhouse.
MIMI
I’m sorry.
Woodhouse turns back and looks at Mimi.
Mimi looks down at the card.
Woodhouse follows her eyes and looks at the card too.
The card is already flipped.
It's just a mirror and says The Devil:
They both look at the mirror. Mimi stands up and together they
both slowly approach the mirror.
He looks directly into the mirror.
He sees nothing alarming and has a moment of relief.
Until he realizes Mimi is no longer in the reflection.
WOODHOUSE
Mimi?
Woodhouse slowly turns around to look at where Mimi was.
He quickly turns back to look at the mirror. The devil
is standing next to him.
