12. EXT. COAST — DUSK

The last of the light settles over the water. A lighthouse cuts a quiet shape against the sky.

MARA steps up to the railing. In her hand, a letter she has carried for years.

I thought there would be more time.

The wind catches the edge of the envelope. She holds on.

BEFORE THE FIRST TAKE

A few things
you might be wondering.

What can I do with Snap Cut?

Snap Cut brings screenplay prep, shot lists, storyboards, camera settings, art continuity, scheduling, contacts, and call sheets into one production workspace. Start with a script and build the plan around it.

Can I bring in a script I’ve already written?

Yes. Import a Final Draft (.fdx), XML, or supported JSON screenplay. Snap Cut extracts scene headings so you can move into scene preparation and shot planning.

How do I work with my team?

Create a studio, open a production, and invite collaborators. Assign manager, editor, viewer, or actor access to each production, with separate controls for exporting, publishing, and sensitive contact information.

What do actors see?

Actors have a dedicated cast portal for approved material shared with them. Production managers can publish sides, call details, and instructions for a named actor without giving them access to the production workspace.
